A message from Nick Gould, founder of Veecom Systems
When I launched Veecom in Edinburgh in 1986 to sell mobile telecoms, things were a bit different. State of the art ‘hand-portable’ phones looked like a half-brick, cost over £2,000 and there was only one tariff available – billed by the minute!
My aim back then, as now, was to offer a first-class service to corporate telecoms users and to help business people communicate effectively, wherever and however they were working. Over the years, as fixed line and mobile communications became increasingly important in our lives, I developed services to differentiate Veecom from the many other telecoms companies which began to appear.
Not only offering a range of hardware, accessories, and networks, but also a services to monitor call expenditure, phone use and functionality, and the ability to take advantage of mobile data and also use innovative ways of saving you money. In short to give you a truly cost-effective business voice and data communication system.
